Skate! Skate! Skate!

Katlyn, her cousins & some friends all took some skating lessons this spring and had a great time.

There were quite a few tears at first from all the kids, especially from all the falling down, but they all gained some confidence over the 8 lessons. They got the patches for passing the class. Katlyn really did a great job, we are very proud of her.

Dylan, Lucas, Katlyn & Kale Lucas has been playing a lot of hockey again this past year. He played on a novice team and he was asked to play on a intermediate team also. So he has been playing games twice a week, at least 1 practice and this next weekend will be the 3rd tournament. That is an insane amount of hockey if you ask me. And if anyone thinks that I'm putting my kids in hockey you are crazy. It is the most all consuming sport there is, but you never know what the future will hold, maybe I'll have a pro hockey player someday. :0) But we've had a lot of fun watching dad play and he has really had great improvment over this past year.
